So this is pretty cool - this picture I took of the Science World building in Vancouver has been short-listed for in the sixth Schmap Vancouver Guide. First nowpublic.com, now this - my Canada photos have gone over really well. I kind of wish this had happened a couple of years back when I was really interested in photography. Oh well.

+ You know what superpower I would like? The ability to accurately measure out the right amount of pasta to boil. :/ I had to throw almost half of my supper because there was just way too much. My perception of size is not so much.

+ Okay, so a question for Canadian flisters: can anyone give me some names of reputable real estate agents based in Vancouver? My mum mentioned today that I should probably start at least looking into renting somewhere for if I get into UBC. Now, I like to pretend things aren't happening until they're on top of me (see: mountain of work to be done by the 5th) but it makes sense to get on some agents' books, at least. Googling hasn't really turned up any big shiny looking pages, but then I am hopelessly snobby about badly designed web pages, so idk.

+ ( I feel like I should say something about the last two SGA episodes, so here goes. )

+ I also just realised that I seem to have missed the previous two episodes of SGA. Huh, maybe that was why the finale felt so disjointed to me.

+ This vid rec post at ds_recsredux seriously makes me want to rewatch due South. And then, of course, I decided to trawl youtube for S&A clips and now I want to rewatch that as well. Also, this has to be my absolute favourite non-funny clip (as well as the first thing I ever saw of S&A) of the whole show. Oh, Geoffrey. ♥

+ I am soclose to hitting 1000 posts, and I kind of want to get there before the new year, but I'm not going to be able to without spamming you guys for the next 24 hours.

So, I wanted to make a long rambly post about-- something, I don't know, but I'm tired (like everyone else, the holidays have thrown my body clock out of whack, going to bed at 3-4am and getting up at 1-2pm is not very awesome - though my body is rarely in whack, so) and I have a temperature, and every-fucking-thing to do for college that I chose not to do in the first two weeks of these damn holidays, along with two fics and blah blah blah whatever.
